Who we are...
We are a collaboration of Not-For-Profit Organisations that are individually contributing to harmony, peace and community wellbeing and we have understood that we can achieve more when united. We work at different levels in the community by providing education, life skills, safe spaces, advancing marginalised groups, offering volunteer roles, wellbeing practices and nurturing the environment.
Where we started...
Peace Day Toowoomba first took place in 2021 at Laurel Bank Park. The event was organised by Heartfulness Institute, Pureland Learning College, United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA), Lions Club and other supporting organisations. The purpose of this continuing event is to celebrate the peace and harmony already present in our community and enliven and imbibe it.
